Conservation

A challenging project, reinstating the organ that was destroyed in the war.
Moulds had to be taken from each piece of Robert Adam decoration and re-cast to follow through with the existing decoration in the room.
Each organ pipe has being hand turned and the curtains that drape the side’s hand carved, the carcase was made and the decoration of pipes, carving and casts slowly and accurately applied, gradually the piece came together, then painted to match in with the existing décor.
The organ now houses a hidden bar; the left and right break fronted sections open out to reveal optics and glasses..
