Patchwork Desk

When our client approached us with a vision for a stunning office desk, they wanted a piece that combined elegance, modern curves, and practical functionality for files, printers, and computer equipment.

After visiting our Worcestershire workshop, exploring sustainably sourced timbers and fine veneers, and discussing ideas, we developed a bespoke design tailored perfectly to the space.

The result is a curved desk crafted from a patchwork of olive ash, burr oak, and brushed stainless steel, a striking statement of a bespoke desk and handcrafted custom furniture.

Koi Carp Side Table

The Koi Carp Side Table is a bespoke, handcrafted creation inspired by our client’s love of native trees and pond fish, designed to feel light, elegant, and distinctive, it features finely turned columns and a striking contrast of natural oak and burr oak veneer for the top and base.

To showcase the koi carp, we commissioned a vibrant fused glass panel with gently wavy glass that captures the movement of water, adding a dynamic, artistic touch, every detail was carefully developed through sketches and full-size drawings, with each component meticulously moulded, veneered, and hand-turned.

Finished with natural oil and clear wax, the table seamlessly combines traditional oak craftsmanship with bespoke glass artistry, creating a bespoke side table UK that is both functional and a striking focal point, reflecting our commitment to handcrafted furniture and enduring, luxury design

Bespoke Pippy Oak Consoles

These bespoke Pippy Oak consoles were commissioned for two narrow hallways, blending elegance with practicality in a refined, contemporary design.

Beginning with sketches and careful timber selection, a prototype ensured perfect proportions before production, the curved forms were shaped as the core layers, then veneered with Pippy Oak, vacuum pressed, and finished with clear lacquer to highlight the distinctive “cat’s paw” grain, a chamfered glass shelf, supported by coned oak pegs, adds lightness while showcasing the timber’s natural beauty.

Every component is handcrafted using traditional tools and sustainably sourced hardwoods, combining traditional joinery techniques with modern design. These handmade luxury jewellery boxes were commissioned by an interior designer for their client, who had twin girls, creating a thoughtful and elegant way to organise and protect treasured jewellery.

Crafted in striking Tabu veneer with dovetailed drawers lined in soft felt, each box combines practicality with exquisite detail. Luxury Custom Drinks Chest by John Beavan

Our client approached us after struggling to source a suitable drinks chest, seeking a piece that combined elegance, practicality, and craftsmanship.

During an initial meeting, we explored timbers, veneers, finishes, and design styles, developing a visual concept that was then translated into detailed scaled drawings, once approved, this bespoke drinks chest UK was handcrafted in our workshops, featuring decorative brown and burr oak with intricate marquetry detailing, polished brass fittings, and felt-lined compartments for crystal glassware.

A pull-out dovetailed drawer provides storage for bottles, whisky tumblers, and other essentials, making it ideal for race or shoot days, sophisticated entertaining, gifting, or a stylish home bar. Fintz Display Plinth

Our client commissioned us to create a bespoke plinth for a bronze sculpture of the English composer Gerald Finzi, seeking a design that would complement the artwork without overwhelming it.

During an initial meeting, applewood was selected, and marquetry detailing was carefully planned, developing a visual concept that was then translated into detailed scaled drawings.

Handcrafted in our workshops, the plinth was designed to display the bronze bust by sculptor Jemma Pearson with elegance and precision.

Commissioned by the Finzi Charitable Trust and unveiled at London’s Royal Academy of Music, the piece features marquetry inscribed with “All my work hath prosper’d well”, celebrating Finzi’s music, his passion for apple-growing, and the finest English craftsmanship. Yew & Oak Hall Table

While restoring their barn conversion, our clients uncovered a rare and evocative detail historic carpenter’s marks etched into the original oak beams.

Keen to preserve and celebrate this craftsmanship, they commissioned a bespoke hall table that would place these historic timbers at its heart. We designed a contemporary piece that tells an older story, carefully cutting the reclaimed oak into 1wcubes and housing them within elegant glass flutes so each mark could be clearly seen. These were framed in natural oak to sit in harmony with the existing oak flooring, while burr yew was introduced on the faces to add richness, depth and balance alongside a treasured antique sideboard.

Finished with a natural oil to enhance the warmth and grain of the timber, the result is a handcrafted hall table that blends modern furniture design with heritage joinery, creating a striking focal point, a conversation piece, and a lasting tribute to traditional British craftsmanship and bespoke furniture UK.
